DAMAGED DURING SHIPPING
If the package seems to be damaged during shipping. You must do the following to protect yourself
~ Make sure that the driver stands there and notes the damage.
~ He watches you open the product and test it there. If he is not willing to wait, call UPS right away.
~ Also contact our store right away. It is very important that you do not let any time lapse.
For full system shipments:
Through reliable sources, we have found that most shipping companies have a policy for their workers. They are instructed to act as though no damage was done. Wait and See if the customer catches it. We shrink wrap all our systems That go via Freight. Remember the following:
~ Do not sign anything till you check everything.
~ Make sure the pallet is still shrink wrapped. If the shrink wrap is gone.. Make sure that the driver knows and wait until you know everything is there.
~ If you notice any boxes damaged, you make sure that driver puts it in writing that the boxes are damaged. You make a choice whether or not to check it while he is there or afterwards. In any event.. Make sure to notify us immediately. We will automatically put you on hold and notify the shipping Company that there was damage, and that we will keep them posted.
